Ontario NDP’s Shailer lays out plan for rural investment during final candidate debate

DRESDEN – Kathryn Shailer, NDP candidate for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, highlighted the failure of the Ford’s Conservative to support rural Ontario during the final all-candidate hosted by concerned citizens from North Kent.

“The Conservatives and Liberals have led us to the crisis we are in,” said Shailer. “Years of Conservative neglect has left our rural communities with fewer job prospects, fewer healthcare services and crumbling infrastructure. We’ve been getting left behind for far too long”.

“As your MPP, I will give you the representation you’ve been missing for years. I’ve already started to work closely with our NDP Official Opposition Caucus by bringing the Dresden Landfill issue to Queen’s Park and forcing the Ford’s Conservative to respond to the issue. With your vote, we’ll be able to do so much more.”
